At SEINō we believe AI can make email analytics easier to understand, but today AI is not active by default in our production platform. This policy explains how we handle AI now and how we plan to introduce it in the future in a safe and transparent way.
In this policy, we use the definition of AI from the EU AI Act.
1. AI Not Enabled by Default
All standard analytics, dashboards and insights in your workspace are calculated with standard statistical and data processing methods.
No AI models run on customer data in production.
2. Scope of Our AI Features
Our AI features will support:
- identifying unusual performance changes
- highlighting trends
- suggesting areas that may need attention
- exploring a conversational interface that lets you ask questions about your aggregated data
Development and testing of these features are only done with:
- synthetic data
- anonymized data
- internal demo datasets
Without explicit consent, customer data is never used in AI development or testing.
3. Future AI Features Will Be Optional
When we release new AI-supported insights, they will be:
- optional
- transparent
- assistive only
- clearly labeled as AI-generated
- designed to work with aggregated performance data, not personal data
You will always stay in control of whether you enable these features.
4. Planned AI Act Alignment
When we introduce AI features, we follow the requirements of the EU AI Act.
- SEINō is not a high-risk AI system.
- Future AI capabilities will fall under general-purpose transparency rules.
Before introducing AI into production, we will:
- publish a detailed explanation of how it works
- document what data it uses
- keep AI away from identifiable personal data
- provide ways to enable, disable or ignore AI insights
We will update this policy before any AI feature goes live.
5. Security and Data Protection
We apply strict security measures to all AI development work:
- encryption in transit and at rest
- EU-only subprocessors
- role-based access control
- restricted access to internal systems
- separation between development environments and production
- no production data is copied into development environments unless explicit customer consent is given
Customer data is never used for training or testing AI without written permission.
6. Updates to This Policy
We will update this policy whenever:
- new AI functionality becomes available
- regulations change
- we expand how AI is used in SEINō
We keep updates simple and easy to understand.
